Apple announces launch event on October 13 in New York

Apple has officially announced a launch event scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, under the slogan "Welcome Home". The presentation, which will begin at 3:00 PM Spanish peninsular time, will take place in New York and was teased by Greg Joswiak, Apple's Marketing Director, through a promotional video.

While Apple has chosen to keep the products being presented a secret, the slogan suggests that the event may focus on home devices. Expected new products include the Apple TV 4K, a second-generation HomePod mini, and a new HomePod with a screen, all designed to enhance home entertainment and connectivity experiences.

## Why it matters This launch is significant for users looking to enhance their home entertainment experience, especially with the growing popularity of smart devices. The introduction of a HomePod with a screen could offer new functionalities that further integrate Apple's ecosystem into the home.

## What we know It is confirmed that the event will take place on October 13 and that at least three new devices will be presented. The invitation to a selected press for an "Apple experience" suggests that Apple plans to make this event an immersive experience for attendees.
