Apple TV 4K with A19 Chip and New Siri Remote

Apple has revealed that the next version of its Apple TV 4K will be powered by the new A19 chip, enhancing performance compared to the A15 found in the previous 2022 model. This hardware upgrade promises to deliver a smoother and faster experience for users, making content playback and navigation more efficient.

In addition to the new chip, the Siri remote will receive a significant update. This new remote will include a built-in speaker to help users locate it more easily, especially when it gets lost between couch cushions. This practical improvement is something many users have been looking forward to.

## Why it matters The inclusion of the A19 chip in the Apple TV 4K not only represents a performance boost but may also enable new features and a richer user experience. Meanwhile, the remote update addresses a common complaint among users, potentially making the overall experience more satisfying.

## What we know The new Apple TV 4K is set to hit stores on October 30, coinciding with the launch of the new HomePod mini. Both products will be showcased at Apple's "Welcome home" event. It has been mentioned that Apple has been testing integrated microphones in the Apple TV 4K to allow for Siri queries without the need for the remote, although this feature has not yet been confirmed for the final device.

## What remains unclear It is still uncertain whether the integrated microphones will be available in the final model of the Apple TV 4K, as the company has only indicated that this feature is under testing. The tech community will be watching closely for more details during the launch event.
