Experience with the MacBook Air M1 after six years of use

In November 2020, Apple launched the MacBook Air with the M1 chip, marking a milestone in the history of its computers. This was the first step towards Apple's transition from Intel processors to its own ARM architecture, which has revolutionized the company's product line. The MacBook Air, along with other models like the MacBook Pro and Mac mini, was crucial in this transition, leading to all Macs now using Apple Silicon.

A user has shared their experience with the MacBook Air M1 after six years of use, highlighting that despite the passage of time, the device's performance remains exceptional. This basic model, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, has met their daily needs, functioning as a secondary laptop while using an Intel iMac as their main machine.

Such testimonials are valuable for potential buyers looking for a reliable and long-term laptop, especially in a market where planned obsolescence is a common concern.

## What we know The MacBook Air M1 has proven to be a robust and efficient device, capable of adapting to users' needs over the years.
