OnePlus 15 gets Color OS 17 Open Beta

OnePlus has taken a significant step by opening the Open Beta program for Color OS 17 on its OnePlus 15 model, currently available in India. This trial version allows users to experience the new software features ahead of the official launch scheduled for October 13 globally, following its debut in China last month.

The arrival of Color OS 17 is noteworthy, as it promises to enhance user experience with new features and performance tweaks. However, users who enroll in this beta should be aware that they may encounter bugs and incomplete features, given that it is a testing version.

## Why it matters This early release allows OnePlus 15 users to experience and provide feedback on the new interface and functionalities, which could influence the final version. Additionally, the option to roll back to the stable OxygenOS 16 provides reassurance for those looking to explore the new features without compromising their daily experience.

## What we know The Open Beta program for Color OS 17 is already active in India, allowing a select number of users to sign up and test the new features. OPPO has confirmed that the global presentation of Color OS 17 is set for October 13, generating excitement about the improvements it will bring.

## What is still unclear It has not yet been confirmed which specific features will be available in this beta and how they will differ from the final version that will be released in October. Additionally, there are no details on whether the beta program will expand to other markets or OnePlus devices.
