Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 3 expands compatibility with Android and iOS

Samsung has launched its new Galaxy SmartTag 3, which is now compatible not only with its own Galaxy phones but also with iOS devices. This compatibility expansion is a significant change, as previous trackers only worked with Samsung smartphones and tablets.

The inclusion of iOS devices means that iPhone users can also take advantage of these devices, which allow for efficient tracking of lost items. However, Samsung's announcement did not clarify whether the SmartTag 3 will also work with non-Galaxy Android phones.

## Why it matters This compatibility expansion is relevant because it allows Samsung to capture a broader market, making it easier for more users to access its tracking technology. Additionally, the ability to use these devices on iOS could attract a new group of consumers looking for solutions to keep their belongings located.

## What we know As more information emerges about the Galaxy SmartTag 3's compatibility, it is confirmed that it works with a wider range of Android devices, although the company has yet to specify whether it includes all phones from other brands.

## What is still unclear One of the lingering questions is whether the SmartTag 3 will be fully functional with all Android devices or if there will be limitations depending on the manufacturer. This information is crucial for users considering acquiring these trackers for daily use.
