Files by Google has become an indispensable tool for Pixel phone users, making it easier to organize and access documents and media. However, testing other file managers has revealed that this app may not be the best option in terms of functionality.

## Why it matters File management is crucial for any smartphone user, as a good app can facilitate the organization and access to important information. The lack of certain features in Files by Google might push users to seek alternatives that better meet their needs.

## What we know Some users have found that there are free apps that include functions that Files by Google does not offer, which could be a deciding factor for those looking for a more complete file management experience.

## What is still unclear It has not yet been confirmed whether Google plans to update Files to add these missing features or if the company will focus on other areas of app development.
