Unexpected Keyboard: customize every keystroke on Android

The Unexpected Keyboard has emerged as a notable alternative to Gboard, Android's default keyboard. This new keyboard stands out for its customization capabilities, allowing users to modify every keystroke to their liking, a feature that Gboard does not offer. The app was discovered by chance by a user researching open-source apps for their Android devices.

## Why it matters This level of customization is particularly significant for users seeking a typing experience tailored to their style and needs. The ability to adjust each key means users can optimize their workflow, potentially leading to greater efficiency and satisfaction when typing.

## What we know The Unexpected Keyboard is an open-source application, which means it is available for anyone to review or modify. This also suggests a commitment to transparency and continuous improvement, as developers can receive feedback from the community to enhance the app.

## What is still unclear It has not yet been confirmed how many users have adopted the Unexpected Keyboard since its launch or if there are plans for future updates that will expand its features. However, its arrival in the Android keyboard market could signal a shift in user expectations regarding customization.
